Field-first programme model
Participants do not receive credit for attendance alone. They must complete supervised tasks and submit proof of practical competence.

12-week practical cohort
The schedule can be adapted to local crops, climate, school calendars and available land.
Measure the plot, inspect drainage, identify water access, record GPS location and photograph the site.
Test texture and pH where possible, identify erosion risks, prepare beds and plan plot layout.
Mix growing media, establish a nursery, sow seed, label varieties and begin a compost unit.
Harden seedlings, transplant correctly, apply mulch and record plant population.
Install a simple drip or controlled watering system and compare water-use methods.
Measure plant height, count leaves, record rainfall and maintain a weekly growth log.
Inspect leaves and stems, identify symptoms, document findings and apply safe integrated controls.
Enter field observations, inputs and expenses into a simple spreadsheet or mobile record.
Use weather information, GPS, mobile photography and available sensors to support decisions.
Harvest safely, weigh produce, grade quality, reduce losses and prepare products for sale.
Package produce, create a flyer, set prices, sell or simulate sales and calculate profit or loss.
Present the plot, digital portfolio, business results and community solution to partners and families.

Participant field kit
Kits can be issued individually or shared by small teams depending on programme resources.
Skills-based certification
Participants must be present for required demonstrations and supervised practice.
Each learner completes the required field, digital and enterprise tasks.
Photos, field logs, spreadsheets, reports and presentations document progress.
Teams deliver a real project with a clear local benefit and measurable result.
Learners demonstrate selected skills directly to an assessor.
Participants present results, challenges, lessons and future plans.
Required community project
Possible projects include a school garden, composting station, drip irrigation demonstration, tree nursery, digital farm-record system, farmer awareness session or nutrition garden.
